Prayer is a huge part of my life and always has been, but I didn’t always call it that.
What I now refer to as prayer, I once referred to as:
Listening to my intuition
Meditation
Practicing gratitude
Saying thank you
Channeling
Asking for signs
Communicating with the other side
Acknowledging and expressing gratitude when I receive signs
Referring to grounding statements or beliefs such as clarity over certainty and what’s meant for me will not pass me
Words spoken with intention
Sending messages to loved ones
There are countless ways to pray, and it all comes down to intention. If you have an aversion to the word prayer, you don’t need to use it. Maybe there’s another word or phrase—like setting intentions or expressing gratitude—that feels more aligned for you. If communicating with the other side doesn’t sit well with you, you can think of it as communicating with yourself.
